· · · Comments

Your kids too can play a small part in saving the planet, with the Earth day almost here, Oribel has initiated a 'Reimagine, Reuse and Get Rewarded' program. We hope through projects like this, kids will be able to understand the importance of recycling things and reducing waste. Do share what you make, and claim your reward! #DeclutterWithOribel

Do you have a cute little feline at home? Has it been taking over your bed and sofa as its own? Instead of fighting over who gets the spot, why don't you create a cozy hangout spot for them to rest their paws? Here's a step-by-step guide on making their very own cat castle.

You will need:

  • Cardboard box
  • Penknife
  • A pair of scissors
  • Colored markers
  • Scotch tape/Double-sided tape
  • Blankets
  • Embellishments (e.g. ribbons, decorative stickers, cloth pieces, etc)

Step 1:

Get a cardboard box of your preferred size. Cocoon High Chair's box is a great size for the Cat House.

Take a double-sided tape and paste them on the box flaps as shown in the pictures. Once done, stick the 2 flaps together to make a roof for the cat house.

Step 2:

Cut off the unwanted flaps on the cardboard with a pair of scissors.

Step 3:

What is a house without doors or windows? Design your own by drawing an outline of the windows and door on the box with markers.

Step 4:

Cut the outline of the door and windows that you've drawn on with a penknife.

This is the part where you can be as creative as possible! Let your creative juices flow and design your very own cat house with the embellishments and colored markers that you have bought!
